Put in a dog run beside the carport in Puhi for our two labs, three tons of the three eighths pea gravel over a bit of fabric to keep the weeds down. Hawaii Rock Supply dumped it right where the driver could reach with the chute, saved us a lot of shoveling. Rounded stone doesn't hurt their paws and rinses clean easy with the hose.

Migrates a bit without a border
Filled in under the deck out in Kilauea with a ton and a half of the three eighths pea gravel to keep weeds from coming up through the boards. Looks clean and drains fast in a downpour, but it migrates onto the lawn a bit at the edges since we didn't put any border down first, which is on us more than the material.

Softer underfoot around the fire ring
Built a fire pit patio out back in Omao and wanted something softer underfoot than crushed stone for bare feet around the fire. Two tons of the pea gravel filled the ring nicely once we set steel edging around the whole circle. Doesn't lock together the way angular stone does, but it hasn't needed topping off since we put the edging in.
