Low branches kept the truck away
Wanted river rock around the foundation beds at our place out in Moloaa, four tons total for beds on three sides of the house. Beds haven't washed out all season
Did a foundation bed job for a place near Hanalei where the gutters dump straight onto the ground with nowhere for the water to go during a real north shore downpour. Five tons of river rock went in around the splash areas at each downspout and along the front bed, mixed sizes from about an inch up to three so it looks natural instead of uniform. The driver dumped two piles close to the beds so we barely had to wheelbarrow anything, saving half a day of labor. Through one full rainy season the beds haven't washed out or scattered even where the water pours hardest off the roof.
