Thick green lawn over old rock
First house we ever owned sits in Pupukea, bought right after the builder finished, and the yard was basically compacted construction dirt with a few rocks the size of softballs scattered through it. Ten yards of top soil went down across the whole front and side yards before the sod crew came out to lay new grass. The tandem truck dumped it in two piles on the driveway since there was nowhere else flat enough, and we spread it ourselves over a long weekend.
